About this activity

Experience the dramatic landscapes south of Marrakesh from the seat of a vintage sidecar motorcycle, visiting a 16th-century spiritual village and the Agafay Desert in a single immersive half-day adventure. This private luxury tour combines adrenaline-fueled riding with intimate cultural encounters and desert panoramas framed by the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.

Your Moto Driver meets you at your Hotel. Adjust your helmet, spread your sunscreen on, put on your sunglasses, and hop on.

Hit the road to reach a small quaint village located 20km south of Marrakech. Between the majestic snow-capped Atlas Mountains, the vivid green of the olive trees, and the region's characteristic red soil, a truly spectacular landscape passes in front of your eyes before reaching this very spiritual place.

As you enter the village, you discover sixteen shrines where saints have been buried as well as remains of a visionary irrigation system. A now private former Koranic school, a ‘Zaouia’, founded in 1584 is your first stop of the day. Still inhabited by the descendants of the Holy Founder, Moulay Hafid invites you for a private discovery of this historical place and he will prepare you the best tea in the kingdom with thyme carefully picked from the family farm a few kilometers away. If you happen to ride on a Friday, take a stroll in the maze of this typical souk and get to taste camel meat, sugar fritters, liver skewers, or seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Continue your adventure to the Agafay Desert where you will see the striking contrasts between rock dunes, green oases and traditional villages. Take out your camera as this is a unique track in between mountains and desert. End your adventure with a local lunch in a glamorous desert camp overlooking the Atlas Mountains. Sip your mint tea and soak up some sun one more time before going back to your hotel by the main road.
