All our dogs are professional Alaskan Husky race dogs. Alaskan husky is an English term for a type of sled dog that is primarily bred for performance, speed, and endurance rather than a specific breed standard. They are a crossbreed and are the most common type of dog used in competitive sled dog racing.

Key characteristics of Alaskan huskies

  • Bred for work: They are selectively bred to be high-performing sled dogs, a mix of different breeds selected for their stamina, speed, and ability to work in a team.
  • Not a purebred: Unlike a Siberian husky or Alaskan malamute, the Alaskan husky is a mixed-breed dog that is not officially recognized by any major kennel club.
  • Physical variation: Their appearance can vary widely, depending on the specific lineage and intended use (e.g., sprint vs. long-distance racing).
  • Temperament: They are known for being energetic, hardworking, and having a strong pack mentality, which makes them well-suited for working in groups. They need a lot of exercise to be happy.
