Best SellerHiking tour to Vaattunkiköngäs
Experience the calm and natural beauty of Vaattunkiköngäs on this memorable hike in Lapland.

Ascend Pyhä-Nattanen Fell in Finnish Lapland on a 4–7 km guided hike through boreal forest to dramatic granite tors with 360° views across the Nattastunturit Fell Chain. This 8-hour adventure combines forest immersion with alpine scenery and showcases Finland's distinctive mountain landscape.
The trail to Pyhä-Nattanen Fell is rather unique. Beginning of the trail leads you through an enchanting forest and gradually changes into rockier and steeper as it approaches the summit. The higher you climb, the wider the view of the Nattastunturit Fell Chain becomes.
At the top of Pyhä-Nattanen lies unusual granite formations called tors that stand several metres high. The view from top of the tors is unobstructed to all directions.
Trail to the top and back is a total of 4 kilometres. One may also choose a 7km long loop, which has some challenging parts. Good hiking shoes are essential! Please note that making a fire in this area is allowed only in the woodburning stove in the hut located at the top of the fell.
Driving distance from Pyhä is around 2 hours one way and 1,5hours from Luosto.

Late August through September and December through March offer the most reliable conditions—autumn brings crisp clarity and fewer insects, while winter provides snowy vistas (with appropriate gear). Avoid June–July peak midges unless prepared with insect repellent; daylight is near-continuous but cloud cover is common.
