About this activity

Discover over 120 bird species and Arctic wildlife in Pyhä-Luosto National Park on this 3-hour guided tour led by a local expert. Learn to identify birds like the Siberian jay alongside otters, moose, and reindeer in their natural Lapland habitat.

Embark on a guided wildlife and birdwatching tour in Pyhä-Luosto National Park, led by an experienced local guide. This area is home to over 120 bird species, including the curious Siberian jay, and a diverse range of wildlife such as otters, moose, and reindeer. During the tour, you'll learn to identify various species and understand their habitats.

The duration and content of the tour can be tailored to your preferences. If you have specific interests or requirements, please contact us at info@kairankutsu.fi. Please note that, due to the unpredictability of nature, sightings of specific species cannot be guaranteed.

The starting time is flexible, with options for early morning or late evening departures during the summer months. Book your preferred date, and we will reach out to confirm the exact timing.

Transportation:

We offer pickup from your accommodation for an additional fee of €20 per person. Pickups commence 30 minutes before the tour's start time. Please select your pickup location during the booking process. If you do not require transportation, meet us at our office Kultakeronkatu 2,  98530 Pyhätunturi

What to Bring:

  • Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear.
  • Bring binoculars and a camera if you wish to observe and photograph wildlife.
