The Marchesi De Cordano Winery is located in the hills of Pescara and in the municipality of Loreto Aprutino, about 25 kilometers from the sea, in an area particularly favorable for the cultivation of vines.About 50 hectares belong to the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grape variety, the other native grape varieties are Cococciola, Pecorino, Passerina, Trebbiano. The new winery, a place of hospitality as well as production, has a room with steel tanks and the cellar for aging wines in the basement.
With a production of about 180,000 bottles, the winery exports all over the world.
During the visit, you will be able to admire the vineyards and be guided on a tour of wine production knowledge.
At the end of the visit you will be a guest in the tasting room, where you will be able to taste some wine.
Visit April–June or September–October for mild temperatures, fewer crowds, and optimal vineyard conditions. Avoid peak summer heat (July–August) and winter rains (December–February) if possible. Late afternoon (4–5pm) tastings offer softer light and a relaxed atmosphere.
