About this activity

A 5-hour guided minivan tour through Cascais and its dramatic coastline, combining coastal drives, historical landmarks, and leisurely walks through charming villages. Discover the westernmost point of continental Europe at Cabo da Roca, a centuries-old sanctuary, and the elegant old town of this former royal retreat—all with a small group and local expert commentary.

The tour will go through the highlights of Cascais, walk tour in Cascais old town, small villages of Cascais, Peninha Sanctuary, Cabo da Roca, Coastal road through Guincho, Cresmina and Cabo Raso.

We will start by driving along the small villages in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, heading to Peninha Sanctuary, an unforgettable place, with a legend back to the XVI century. We will continue to the westernmost point of the European Continent, Cabo da Roca, with its 140 m height cliffs over the deep blue Atlantic Ocean.

Taking coastal road to Cascais, we will go through the amazing Guincho Beach, the Cresmina Dunes and Boca do Inferno. Stops will be done for small walks and for photos.

Reaching Cascais, the well known royal summer resort since end of the19th Century, we will do a walk tour through the old town and major sights.

The tour include some walk, a total of around 3km.
