We will pick you up at the hotel at 9.00am to go to the city, mainly on a walking tour. First we will be arriving at the nearest metro station and then we will head to the city center or historic district, arriving at the nearest metro station of the Palacio de la Moneda where we will be able to see the changing of the guard and take pictures at the presidential house. You can only see this event every other day.

We will be walking through the streets like a local citizen and then have a coffee, then we will go to the Plaza de Armas a historical place with a contrast between the modern and the old where the Cathedral and monuments are located. Afterwards we will go to a typical bar where we will invite you to drink a local drink such as the popular Terremoto a fruity cocktail with wine grenadine and pine apple icecream then we will arrive at the Central Market where you will be able to have lunch, typical Chilean food such as seafood, fish, meat, empanadas, cazuela and a glass of wine or beer.

After lunch we will go to the San Cristobal hill where we will climb the cable car or funicular. You can also buy mote con huesillo-dried peaches with husked wheat and sugar-at the top of the hill at the same time you will have one of the best views of the city. Finally, very close to the place we will go to the Bellavista neighborhood a bohemian place with bars and restaurants then we will go to the modern part of Santiago and returning to the hotel.
