Departures run frequently between 7pm–9:30pm, offering an accessible way to see the city's most photogenic views from the water.

Note: Redemption code will be sent to your email at noon on travel day, gmail does not work in China.

Spend about an hour on this lovely night cruise from Dashatou Wharf, on which you can view the night city scenery includes the bridges over the Pearl River, the old buildings by the river, and fantastic lights from the buildings, IFC, Canton Theater, Ersha Island, and Canton Tower etc. The cruise will come back the same dock.

The daily night cruise sails nearly every 30 minutes from 7pm to 9:30 pm, here is the procedure for the ticket booking:

 • Book on-line, default departure is 7pm. (Referenced sailing time: 7PM, 7:30PM, 8PM, 8:30PM, 9PM, 9:30PM. Exactly departure time will be sent on the ticket redemption message.)

 • All traveler MUST bring passport to board on the cruise.

 • IMPORTANT: The ticket redemption code message will be sent to your email at noon on the sailing day, which you can redeem with your passport from Blue Dolphin Cruise or Jinfang Cruise ticket office at the Dashatou Cruise Terminal. Please make sure your email is correct and can be achieved when you are in China. Please contact local operator if you did not receive the code before 5pm on travel day. You cannot redeem the ticket with the booking voucher, only the code message works.

 • It is suggested to get to the dock 45 minutes before the sailing time to redeem the cruise ticket.

 • Boarding gate and seat number of the top deck are printed on the ticket.

 • Here is the dock address:  Dashatou Wharf, 466 Yanjiang East Road Guangzhou.

 • We could not re-arrange another ticket or refund you if you missed the cruise already.

Insider tips

  • Arrive at Dashatou Wharf 45 minutes before your sailing time to allow for redemption at the ticket office—don't rely on last-minute redemption
  • Use a non-Gmail email address for your redemption code; Gmail is blocked in mainland China—QQ, Outlook, or corporate email work reliably
  • Book the 8pm or 8:30pm slot for optimal lighting: early enough for sharp photography, late enough for full darkness and maximum neon impact
  • Request a top-deck seat when redeeming—your boarding gate and deck assignment are printed on the ticket

Good to know

  • Redemption code arrives via email at noon on travel day only; you must present your passport and code at the Blue Dolphin or Jinfang Cruise ticket office to receive your boarding ticket
  • Passport is mandatory for boarding—leave no-shows are common, so confirm code receipt by 5pm or contact the operator
  • No physical voucher is accepted; only the emailed redemption code works
  • Exact departure time (7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm, 9pm, or 9:30pm) is confirmed in the redemption message, not at booking
  • Cruise operates nightly; weather cancellations are rare but possible during typhoon season
