Early in the morning you'll make your own way to the Saint-Lazare Train Station, where you'll board a direct train to the city of Caen. Upon arrival, an English-speaking driver will pick you up at the station, and your discovery of the Second World War will begin with a guided tour of the Mémorial de Caen, an incredible museum documenting the war.

After your visit, you'll enjoy a 2-course-lunch at the Restaurant La Terrasse of the Mémorial de Caen.

After lunch, you leave for a 5-hour discovery-tour of some of the major sites in of WW2 in Normandy: the Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-mer, the German battery of Longues-sur-mer, and Arromanches’s artificial mulberry harbor.

Your day will conclude back at the Caen train station, where you'll be dropped off in time to catch your return train to Paris.
