About this activity

Travel from Paris to Normandy's D-Day landing sites on a full-day guided tour combining museum education with battlefield exploration. You'll visit the comprehensive Mémorial de Caen museum, enjoy a two-course lunch, then spend five hours touring five significant WW2 locations including Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and the American Cemetery.

Early in the morning you'll make your own way to the Saint-Lazare Train Station, where you'll board a direct train to the city of Caen. Upon arrival, an English-speaking driver will pick you up at the station, and your discovery of the Second World War will begin with a guided tour of the Mémorial de Caen, an incredible museum documenting the war.

After your visit, you'll enjoy a 2-course-lunch at the Restaurant La Terrasse of the Mémorial de Caen.

After lunch, you leave for a 5-hour discovery-tour of some of the major sites in of WW2 in Normandy: the Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-mer, the German battery of Longues-sur-mer, and Arromanches’s artificial mulberry harbor.
