This is one special tour starting in Queimadas, where we will enjoy the beauty and freshness of...

Combine a dramatic 8-hour open-roof 4x4 adventure through Madeira's volcanic peaks, plunging valleys, and Europe's highest cliff with a 3-hour catamaran dolphin and whale-watching expedition. This full-day immersion pairs rugged mountain terrain and authentic local stops with prime cetacean spotting along the south coast.
Starting our tour with amazing views over Funchal´s Bay, we drive uphill to Boca dos Namorados, at nearly 1000 mts high above sea level, where we will be able to see the famous village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley). Going higher to Boca da Corrida through a spectacular off road with an elevation of about 1200 mts, you will be astonished by the main volcanic complex and highest mountains of the island. From there, we go downhill to Jardim da Serra, place known by its cherry production. Here we will have a quick stop, where you can enjoy a portugues coffee, natural tea or the very traditional drink Poncha (not included), freshly made by a local. We will continue towards Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the World with 580 mts, better known for its renovated viewpoint with suspended glass floor. Later, we will finish our tour at the warm and traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos visiting a Madeira Wine Lodge, where our guests will have the opportunity to taste (included) the famous Madeira wine (Sweet / Medium Sweet / Dry / Medium Dry).
After the Jeep tour, our guests will be dropped off at Funchal’s Harbor to start the Dolphin & Whale Watching Trip. Come on board on the Catamaran for a relaxing trip along the south coast of Madeira. The boat trip takes 3 hours with strong possibilities of watching Dolphins & Whales in their natural habitat. During the trip, the crew will give you detailed information about the cetacean species that you are able to see.In the summer months there is the possibility of swimming below Cabo Girao cliff. In case you don’t see any cetaceans, we offer a second boat trip. This trip ends in Funchal’s Harbor.
May through October offers the warmest weather, calmest seas, and highest whale and dolphin encounter rates. Book early morning departures to maximise daylight for both mountain vistas and marine wildlife.
