Private Transfer to Blue Lagoon to/from Keflavik Airport- Reykjavik or Rvik-Blue L. - Kef
We offer a private transfer between Keflavik Airport and Blue Lagoon. On the way to the Blue Lagoon, we pass by vast lava fields and some mountains.
Start or end your journey in Iceland by visiting the renowned Blue Lagoon Spa and go for a relaxing bath in the milky blue waters to ease your mind and body soaking up the scenic beauty of the lagoon while breathing in the clean and refreshing air.
The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal lagoon that is rich in silica, algae, and other minerals which are beneficial to your skin and said to have therapeutic effects for skin disorders like psoriasis and eczema. Today, Blue Lagoon also offers various amenities, including SPA treatments, restaurants, and accommodation.
The Blue Lagoon is located in Grindavik, about 20 minutes driving from Keflavik and about 45 minutes from Reykjavik. The proximity to the Blue Lagoon makes it an ideal pitstop for travelers arriving or departing through Keflavik Airport and those that wish to make a short day tour from Reykjavik. This is an ideal stop for stopover passengers at Keflavik International Airport (KEF) who only have limited time to spend in the area. After a relaxing bath at the Blue Lagoon, you can either continue to Reykjavik or return to Keflavik Airport.

Insider tips
- ★Book in advance if arriving during peak summer months (June–August) when both airport transfers and Blue Lagoon slots fill quickly.
- ★Bring swimwear and a towel; the lagoon provides changing facilities but having your own speeds up the process.
- ★If on a tight layover, confirm your return transfer time with the operator beforehand to avoid missing your flight.
- ★The 20-minute drive from Keflavik is scenic but traffic near the airport can add 10–15 minutes; factor this into tight connections.

Who it's for
Best time to visit
Summer (June–August) offers longest daylight and warmest air temperatures, though the lagoon stays a comfortable 37–40°C year-round. Book early as slots fill quickly during peak season; shoulder seasons (April–May, September–October) provide fewer crowds with similar experiences.
