About this activity

Freedive through Iceland's stunning Silfra rift at night with an experienced guide, exploring the crystal-clear waters between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. The darkness brings out nocturnal marine life and creates an otherworldly atmosphere, with a chance to spot the northern lights from the water.

We meet at Silfra´s parking spot (if no pickup) Go over safety and all needed, put on our freedive wetsuit and walk to Silfra (2 min)

At night Silfra has a good wildlife, lots of fish witch you can see close up because you hold your breath. They don´t like bubble sound :)

Everybody doing our tours need to read and sign this document (click here)

Meet at Silfra in evening at Silfra car park. Go over safety and area, put on our gear and freedive with lights through our lovely Silfra together where you have the best visibility possible and have the best freedive equipment possible also. All our guides are professionals and know very much about our land and culture so you can ask away.

Go through Silfra at your pace and enjoy. If you are lucky you can see northern lights at same time, then you just turn on your back and enjoy :)

After you have done your freedive through Silfra we exit and get a lovely cup of cocoa and take off our gear. After that you should spend some time in the park and let our history soak in.  As a nice thing we have "The wall" in Game of thrones in front of us wich is a nice thing to walk through and reinact some scenes
