Azienda Agricola Garra

Insider tips

  • Visit during autumn (October–November) when olives are being harvested and pressed—you'll see the mill in full operation rather than during off-season storage.
  • Ask the family about their heritage olive varieties (Leccino, Intossa, Ascolana, Picholine, Bella di Spagna)—each has distinct flavour profiles worth discussing during tasting.
  • The farm is located in the quiet hamlet of Mutignano; allow time to explore the charming village surroundings before or after your visit.

Good to know

  • 6-hour duration typically includes travel time; confirm pickup/drop-off location and exact start time when booking.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes suitable for uneven ground; bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen) as olive groves offer limited shade.
  • This is a working farm with rustic terrain—not ideal for visitors with serious mobility restrictions; check accessibility details with the operator.
  • Light snacks or lunch may be included (clarify with supplier); bring water to stay hydrated during the grove walk.
