About this activity

Explore Bulgaria's premier military history museum in Yambol, featuring an extensive open-air collection of Soviet-era tanks, fighter aircraft, helicopters, and weaponry across 9 acres. This municipal museum, opened in 2013, honours regional soldiers from post-liberation Bulgaria to the present day with two indoor exhibition halls and unlimited photography.

One of the top attractions in Bulgaria will amaze you with its huge collection of tanks, fighters, helicopters, rifles, equipment, photos etc. It's a must see! Photos are allowed with our tour and you can take as many as you want!

The "Museum of battle glory" in town of Yambol was opened on May 9, 2013, together with the restoration of the portal-monument of 29th Infantry Regiment of Yambol. This is the first municipal specialized museum in the country. The museum aims to preserve the memory and pay tribute to all soldiers from the city and the region in the period after Liberation of Bulgaria to nowadays.

The museum is located in the former pioneer barracks on an area of 9 acres provided by the Ministry of Defense and includes an open-air museum and 2 exhibition halls.
