1 / 6This cultural tours is one of the standout things to do in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Rated 4.0/5 by 3 travellers, it combines the highlights below into a single, easy-to-book experience from €202 per person. We offer you our excursion CHRIST REDEEMER STATUE, SUGAR LOAF TOURS, MARACANÃ STADIUM that takes you visit, in one day, the two most important tourist attractions in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Our tour begins with a pick-up at the passengers' hotels to go to Corcovado hill and see the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located at 710 meters high. Besides visiting this emblematic place, we will be in contact with nature, since Corcovado hill is located within the Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest in the world.
At the top of the hill, we will get a panoramic view where we'll contemplate the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the north of the city, and several of its beaches. Then we will continue to the legendary Maracana Stadium, where we can visit its Museum (optional).
Then we will make a stop at the famous Carnival Avenue, the Sambódromo, to access the Samba Museum and enter the Plaza de la Apotheosis.
We will take a break for lunch in a traditional churrascaria or a buffet restaurant (according to the selected option) and then visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain, located at 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of Guanabara Bay. We will go up in a glass cable car to the top, from where we will enjoy a wonderful 360° view of Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo, and its surroundings.
Before finishing, we will pass through the Historic Center of the city with stops at the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Selarón Staircase, and passing by the famous Arcs of Lapa.
After a day full of activity, we will return to the passengers' hotels.
Rio de Janeiro is rewarding year-round, but spring and early autumn typically bring the most comfortable temperatures and thinner crowds than peak summer. Morning departures tend to be quieter and cooler; booking ahead is recommended in high season as popular cultural tours slots in Rio de Janeiro sell out.
