About this activity

A 2-day coastal adventure combining Essaouira's layered history with Atlantic watersports. Explore centuries-old medinas and Portuguese fortifications by day, then master surfing or kitesurfing in Morocco's premier wind-blessed bay.

 Essaouira, a beautiful seaside resort very appreciated by tourists and visitors, thanks to its calm atmosphere and mild weather. Essaouira is home of several cultural and historical sites from  different civilizations (the Phoenicians, the Romans and the Portuguese). 

Upon your arrival, you would be invited to a half-day guided tour through Derb Laalouj to Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Museum, dating back to the 19th century. In this small corner of the Medina, you will find various Moroccan craft shops offering several local products, especially thya wood items, but you will also find shops and bazaars for leather, carpets or silver jewelry....

A lunch break in a local restaurant to taste the delights of the moroccan cuisine "Fish Specialty Restaurant", then continuation to the Skalas, an armed fortifications pointed towards the ocean, historical military bases dating from the 16th century.

To make your stay more pleasant, we have chosen one of the best local hotels, Essaouira Lodge, a 3 hectare hotel park located in the heart of a Thuya forest, offering various accommodation choice : apartments, suites, houses and luxury villas, furnished in a chic and modern Moroccan style and equipped with comfort and well-being facilities.

 On the second day you will be invited to spend ½ day of Surfing or Kitsurfing to live a typical and unforgettable adventure.
