Den Bosch puts its market square at the centre of everything, and that is where the game begins: on the Markt, in front of the Stadhuis 's-Hertogenbosch. From there the route runs past De Moriaan and on toward the Sint-Janskathedraal, whose buttresses show above most of the old town. As an outdoor escape game it keeps to the streets between them.

The centre of Den Bosch is dense and largely car-free, which makes it comfortable for families with children as well as for friends, couples and work teams. Two to five players make up a team with one phone between them, and more people than that simply means more teams. Every player is assigned a character and a role in the mission, so the group has to work as a group. No guide accompanies you, and you choose your own moment to start.

Magnus has the stolen formulas, and what he left behind is spread across the Grote Markt in Den Bosch and the lanes around it. Your team cracks codes, untangles riddles and stages the photo tasks the app sets, reading the clues off the buildings themselves. The characters matter here: what one player is told, another one needs.

More than one team on the trail turns it into a competition between them, and that is how most teambuilding groups play it. You are free to pause halfway and come back to the rest later. Den Bosch stays small enough that nothing ends up far away.
