Meet your guide at the Reykjavík Bike Tours office no later than 09:45 in the morning so you can set up your bike and put on the appropriate safety gear. On the 2-2.5 hr. bike tour you will pass by some of Reykjavík's most scenic and historical sites while learning tales and stories of past and present inhabitants of the city. The total route is about 7 km. on mostly flat and paved terrain and may include but are not limited to Ægissíða, University of Iceland campus, Nordic House, Reykjavík Catholic Cathedral, Parliament building, Tjörnin pond, Sólfar viking ship sculpture, Höfði house of Cold War summit and the beautiful Hallgrímskirkja church.
After the bike ride you will be back at the Old Harbour in time for the whale watching tour that sets off from just down the road at 13:00. Learn all about the wildlife in our waters, the birdlife and the surrounding landscapes on the informative and entertaining 2.5-3.5 hr. cruise in Faxaflói bay. Borrow an overall and enjoy the views from one of our platforms out on deck or stay comfortable in our heated indoor saloon and watch from within through our large viewing windows of the saloon.
