Iceland runs almost entirely on renewable energy — geothermal and hydroelectric.
From Reykjavik, we drive to Raufarhólshellir, one of the most significant lava tunnels in Iceland, where a local guide will tell us all about its spectacular colors and rock formations.

After an hour-long tour of the tunnel, we head to the beautiful Reykjanes Peninsula, home of the Reykjanes Geopark, UNESCO site and one of Iceland’s geological gems, a place rich in geothermal energy, seismic activity, and tectonic movements.

We will visit the beautiful lakes Kleifarvatn and Grænavatn, the multi-colored hills on Krýsuvík and the geothermal areas of Seltún and Gunnuhver with their hot spring and mud pools and much more.

After all the sightseeing, we will make a stop at the Blue Lagoon. Here you will have time to walk around and take pictures or enjoy a coffee in the cafe overlooking the blue pool. If you wish, you can take a relaxing bath in the warm lagoon while enjoying a drink or put some silica mask over your body. (Entrance tickets must be purchased in advance)
