About this activity

Explore five Adriatic islands and three sea caves on a private 9-hour boat tour from Trogir, anchored by the Blue Cave's ethereal aquamarine waters and complemented by stops in charming fishing villages and secluded beaches. This curated itinerary combines natural wonders—including the distinctive 'Lego man' rock formation and Green Cave—with cultural exploration of Hvar and Vis.

After meeting you at a prearranged location, you will start your tour traveling to
the small island of Bisevo and experience the hidden Blue cave. The Blue cave
is one of the best known natural beauties on the Adriatic sea . This is the
best time of the day to see all magic playing between sun and this cave. While
sunlight reflects through the water coming from the white floor of the cave and
bathes the cave in aquamarine light, objects in the water appear to be
silver(if weather and timetable allow us we will visit Monk seal cave). After
Blue cave, the next stop of this tour is nice fisherman's place, Komiza on the
island of Vis. After a pleasant sightseeing in Komiza we will take you to
Stiniva bay for sightseeing but on the way we will stop to check nice small
caves on south side of Vis and hidden "Lego man cave". This
uncommon shaped cove makes this place unique.

Your next visit is at the Green cave, a big cave which is characteristic because of the
sun light coming through a hole on the cave's top, spreading sparkling green
light on the sea inside, along the bottom, and walls(stop on this
location is not mandatory and tickets are not included, it is up to you to
decide)

Onward to swimming time on Budikovac Island or Smokova bay sand beach(guest chooses which
location). After your experiences on Vis, continue on to
Hvar island for a lunch break and sightseeing of town center and
Fortica fortress. With all the impressions that you got on this tour we are
ready to return back toward Split.

Insider tips

  • Book morning departures to catch optimal sunlight in Blue Cave—the reflection effect is strongest when sun angle is high
  • Bring snorkelling gear or rent locally; underwater visibility in these caves reveals silver-toned objects and marine life
  • Komiza is quieter and more authentically local than Hvar's main harbour; grab fresh fish at waterfront restaurants here
  • Choose Smokova Bay for sandier swimming or Budikovac for rocky exploration—ask your captain about conditions on the day

Good to know

  • Private tour: group size and comfort level can be tailored; confirm final itinerary with operator day-before
  • Green Cave stop is optional with separate ticket (not included); decide on the day based on sea conditions and your interest
  • Monk Seal Cave visit depends on weather and timing; mentioned as bonus if conditions allow
  • 9 hours includes travel time between islands; plan lunch at Hvar or bring snacks
  • Sun protection essential: bring high-SPF sunscreen, hat, and polarized sunglasses for cave viewing and all-day exposure

Who it's for

Couples and small groups seeking exclusive, photo-rich natural sceneryAdventure swimmers and snorkellers wanting beyond-guidebook cave explorationCultural travellers combining island village discovery with coastal geologyPhotographers chasing dramatic light-and-water compositions

Best time to visit

Visit May to September for calm seas and reliable sunshine; morning departures (early start implied) maximise the Blue Cave's reflective light show. Avoid windy conditions which reduce cave water clarity and may restrict smaller cave access.
