Premium Full Day Tour to Chiloe, visiting Castro and Dalcahue
In the morning we will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Varas for our drive to the island of...
1 / 7A full-day premium excursion from Puerto Varas combining two of southern Chile's most dramatic landscapes: the emerald Petrohué waterfalls in Puyehue National Park and the perfectly conical Osorno Volcano with its expansive lake views. This journey showcases the raw beauty of the Lake District with guided hikes through native forests and across volcanic terrain.
Join us to explore the Osorno volcano. On the way, pass by typical wooden churches, Chilean farm houses and the town of Ensenada. Drive through a thick forest of mostly native Coigües to reach Chile’s oldest National Park. Visit the waterfalls of Petrohué and hike a short trail through native forests. We will get back to the car and drive on heading to the slopes of the Osorno Volcano where we will make a short hike over lava fields and enjoy the impressive view over the Lake Llanquihue.
Visit October–April (Southern Hemisphere spring/summer) for clear skies and safer hiking conditions. Early morning departures avoid afternoon cloud cover that obscures volcano and lake views.
