The game in Pattaya begins at Ripley's Believe It or Not, a short walk from the seafront, and works outward from there. The trail follows Pattaya Beach for a stretch, turns into Walking Street, then loops back through the blocks behind the shore. It is a self-guided murder mystery game rather than a tour, and the timing is yours.
The ground is flat and the walking is easy, but the heat is the thing to plan around, so an early or late start is more comfortable. Families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues all play it, and going solo is fine as well. A team is four people at most on one phone, and larger groups run as several teams.
