One day Tour of Lovech and Krushunski Waterfalls from Sofia

Lovech – the old town and Varosha quarter – where are located the ethnographic complex and the Vasil Levski house museum. Lovech is known as the center of the Internal Revolutionary Organization of the revolutionary Vasil Levski in his struggle for liberation from Ottoman rule. In the highest part of the old town are the remains of the Hisarya fortress. Near the fortress is the monument to Vasil Levski. The covered bridge over the Osam River is the symbol of Lovech. The bridge connects the old and new parts of the city. It was built in 1872-1874 by the builder Kolyu Ficheto, and today it houses numerous shops where you can buy souvenirs. Stratesh Hill is another popular place for walks and is home to the Lovech Zoo.<br/>Krushuski Waterfalls - one of the most attractive landmarks of the country.
