Kandy, more popularly known as the hill capital of Sri Lanka, is an attractive tourist destination. Its history dates back to the 15th century when it was the last royal capital of the country. The city is 115km from Colombo and is the second biggest city in Sri Lanka. Kandy has an abundance of the culture around it; the Temple of the Tooth being the most popular attraction.
The center of the city is situated in a valley which is elevated at 600m above sea level. Kandy Lake is an artificial creation by one of the past rulers and today, it is a scenic centerpiece of the town. Also, home to an international cricket stadium, Kandy brings in thousands of cricket fans. Sports, religion, history, and culture, Kandy has it all!

We pick you up at 07:00 am from your hotel and take you on a city tour.
Climbing the numerous steps to the top seeing the white colossal statue of Buddha named Bahirawakanda Vihara gives one a sense of peace, serenity, and harmony, and a stunning and gorgeous panoramic view of charming Kandy.
We will visit the Botanical garden in Peradeniya.
Take lunch at the Global Kitchen Restaurant or Similar.
Then, we will make a visit to the Kandy Temple Dalada Maligawa ( Temple of Tooth).
Visit the gem museum, see a batik factory, and a silk factory.
In the evening see the Kandyan. The cultural show depicts various forms of Kandyan dancing which was once native to the area but has now spread to different regions of the island and the show includes Magul Bera/Puja Netuma/Raban/Mayura Netuma/Pantheru Natuma/Gini Sisila/Ves Natuma(Firewalk).
Climb the hill by Kandy Lake to reach Kandy viewpoint and receive a view of the city that cannot be beaten.
By the end of the day, we take you back to your hotel.
