Lisbon, the Portuguese Capital is a must-see city. Full of life and well-known monuments. We'll pass through Torre de Belém and Jerónimos Monastery.
You will have the opportunity to taste unique pastry. After Belém we'll cross the historical city center designed by Marquês de Pombal in the XVIII. Then we'll go to the old neighborhoods and some spots with an overview of the city facing the river.
In the afternoon we'll go to Sintra where you can visit Pena Palace and we'll do a sightseeing tour all over the mountain so you can glimpse the other monuments from the outside. At the edge of the mountain, facing the ocean, we'll find the famous spot "Cabo da Roca" - "The end of the world"- for the Portuguese people of the XV century. After Cabo da Roca we’ll make a short stop in Cascais and finally go back to Alentejo Coast.
Late April–May and September–October offer ideal weather: mild temperatures, lower crowds, and clear views of Sintra's monuments and Atlantic cliffs. Avoid November–March (frequent drizzle in Sintra) and July–August (peak heat and tourist congestion in Lisbon).
