About this activity

Walk one of Madeira's most scenic levadas (irrigation channels) along the dramatic south coast, tracing a 7km path between Cabo Girão and Ribeira Brava with sweeping views over Câmara de Lobos and its fishing villages. This gentle half-day trek showcases the island's terraced farmland, lush vegetation, and traditional architecture without requiring hiking experience.

A walk with a magnificent panoramic view over Câmara de Lobos and Campanário. You will see green fields, carefully cared for plantations, as well as sets of houses and buildings that form the villages.

It is a very pleasant walk that can be done at any time of the year derived from the mild climate of the south coast.
