The stables are open all year from 9am daily, offering hacking, trekking and trail riding into the Killarney National Park for one, two and three hours.
The park was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1981, and forms part of a Special Area of Conservation. Your trail will take you past Lough Lein, the largest of the three lakes in Killarney and across areas of stunning natural beauty. Expect amazing views of soaring mountains, and rolling hills with the
unique ecosystem including numerous species of fauna and flora. All groups are guided, and all levels of experience catered for.
For clients who come un-equipped, we can provide riding hats and boots.
We cater for 16, however additional horses for larger groups are available on request.
Visit May to September for mild weather and longer daylight, though the park operates year-round. Morning departures (around 9am) offer the most favorable conditions for riding and wildlife spotting.
