About this activity

OLEOUTDOOR ORGANIZES HIKING TOURS IN THE SIERRA DE GUADARRAMA NATIONAL PARK AND GUIDED VISIT TO SEGOVIA. TRANSPORT INCLUDED.

First we will transfer to Sierra de Guadarrama National Park and hike for 3 hours. Hikes suitable for all ages and hiking levels.

During the hike you will sightsee scot pine forests, clear water creeks and alpine meadows, impressive granite rock formations, glacier origin lagoons, mountain wildlife and flora, and superb mountain landscapes.

After the hike we will transfer to monumental town of Segovia.

Most of Segovia's attractions are found in the Old Town, inside of the walls, an atmospheric medieval world of cobblestone streets, ancient alleyways, and charming squares.

Visit the Aqueduct of Segovia, the gothic Cathedral,  the magnificent Alcazar castle of Segovia and the Jewish Quarter.

Furthermore taste Castile traditional gastronomy including the popular roast suckling pig and Ribera red wine.

Segovia is an excellent starting point to discover the province and visit to La Granja Royal Palace and gardens, as well as the Gorges of the Duratón River Nature Reserve, among other attractions.

  • Pick up at your hotel or accommodation in Madrid and 1 hour drive to Sierra de Guadarrama National Park.
  • 3 hours hiking tour in National park.
  • 45 minutes transfer from mountain area to Segovia.
  • Optional 1 hour and 15 minutes lunch break (our guide would suggest different restaurants but we recommend you to make a reservation in advance to taste the popular roast suckling pig).
  • 2 hours walking tour in Segovia.
  • 1 hour  and 10 minutes drive back to Madrid and drop-off at your hotel or accommodation in Madrid.
