About this activity

The Golden Circle is without a doubt the the most popular combination of sites to visit in Iceland, including Geysir, Gullfoss and Þingvellir.

We will spend the day visiting these three essential destinations: Geysir, the famous hot spring that has given name to all geysers around the world and is currently dormant, but we we will see its ¨brother¨ Strokkur spouting water up to 30 meters high every few minutes; Gullfoss, the ¨Golden Waterfall¨, one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland due to its massive two-tiered falls that reach up to 32 meters in height; and finally Þingvellir National Park, home to Iceland's first parliament and also where we can observe and walk between the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
