At 9:00 or 12:00 or 17:30, meet your guide Meet outside, Exit A, Zhongshanba Station on Metro Line 5 in Guangzhou. Centrally located Guangzhou hotel pickup is an optional choice for booking.

Then you will walk to the Food Street where you will see the traditional Cantonese noodles, beef, Dim Sum, Barbecued pork, and Mati Cake etc… Afterwards you will explore a local market where there are different shops selling fruits, seafood, vegetables, cakes, tools, buns, and dumplings etc. You will taste 4 to 5 different local food with your local guide.

  • Bring small cash (yuan) for optional extra purchases at the market—many small vendors don't take cards
  • Ask your guide for recommendations on which stalls are family-run or have the longest queues (a good sign of quality)
