Experience the Minoan grapes at a local vineyard

An experience from the years of the Minoan civilization till today!<br />Start your day with a short Informative discussion under the thick shade provided by the vineyards’ leaves accompanied by traditional Greek coffee and local treats and earn all the necessary information about the grape / vine leaves harvest!<br /><br />Since you are provided with the knowledge from a professional, we will proceed to the vineyards in order to apply it in the field. We will drift through the vineyards where you will be guided how to properly distinguish the grapes that are about to be cut, collect, taste and of course keep these afterwards as a proper local souvenir straight out the Cretan land!<br /><br />After the harvest and taking under consideration the ideal location of the vineyards, we will pay a visit to Jouchtas Mountain that is considered the mythical tomb of Zeus, only 10 minutes away by car! At mount Jouchtas a very important royal temple of the Minoan period was unearthed, that gave information on the structure of the temples as well as on the religion during this period. The view of Heraklion and the Cretan sea from Jouchtas is breathtaking.<br /><br />We close our day with the best way possible, by tasting original flavors of Traditional Cretan goods from our land and wine / raki from our grapes!</p><p style="font-size:14px;line-height:1.6;color:#57646f;margin-top:0.5em;margin-bottom:0.5em"><br /></p><p style="font-size:14px;line-height:1.6;color:#57646f;margin-top:0.5em;margin-bottom:0.5em">P.S.: All of the transportation services are going to be with our vehicle which will be used for picking you up from the exact place you stay.
