About this activity

A comprehensive 10-hour shore excursion combining Dublin's medieval and modern landmarks with two of Ireland's most iconic experiences—Jameson Whiskey Distillery and Guinness Brewery—plus a coastal escape to the picturesque village of Howth. Perfect for cruise passengers seeking history, heritage tastings, and dramatic coastal scenery in a single day.

Our bus will pick you up directly from your ships docking point and bring you on a panoramic trip through Dublin itself.

Whilst on board you will be revealed with this fair cities past and present. From its birth in 988AD right up to the modern day, Dublin will not disappoint, see firsthand it's infamous architecture, cobbled streets and famous landmarks such as Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin Castle and The GPO (which still wears the scars of the 1916 Easter Rising)

Then join us in a 'wee tipple' or three at the Jameson Whiskey Distillery and discover why Irish Whiskey is so popular throughout the world. (Did you know that the Irish have an 'e' in the spelling of whiskey as it stands for the 'excellence' of it?)

Next we'll bring you to the heart of Dublin to discover the history of the 'Black Stuff' and why it is in fact good for you! Founded in 1759 by Arthur Guinness himself, the Guinness Brewery is currently Dublins number 1 visitors attraction and well worth the visit.

But that's not all - Next we will zip you out to the village of Howth made famous by James Joyces Ulysses - this stunning village has it all and you will need to choose how best to spend your time here. You can relax and get a good feed at one of it's many award winning restaurants and cafes or alternatively get your walking shoes on and traverse a portion of the Howth Head Cliff walk, this boasts stunning views out to Lambay Island and Irelands Eye.

Afterwhich it's back to Dublin City Centre where you will be given some free time to explore Templebar and its surrounding areas - this portion of Dublin is very popular with both Dubliners and tourists alike, with its culture spots, galleries and yes of course it's assortment of different pubs.

*Please note that all times are approximate. The locations might be visited in a different order, depends on traffic and weather.
