Dresden Day Tour from Wroclaw

For centuries Dresden was the capital of an independent state of Saxony, which under the Wettin dynasty was a flourishing center of culture, art, and architecture. 

The city was considered the pearl of European baroque with numerous churches, palaces, and townsmen’s houses contributing to its unique atmosphere. 

The controversial ally bombing at the end of War World II, despite thousands of deaths and great urban substance damage, did not affect Dresdner Old Town entirely - today a powerful symbol of German revival and reconstruction.
