Come discover the world-famous Cliffs of Moher on the scenic coastal Wild Atlantic Way route. If walking, photography, breath taking scenery and invigorating Atlantic sea air is your thing, this tour is for you!
Your local driver/guide will take you on a fascinating journey from Limerick, via Ennis to the picturesque village of Doolin in County Clare. On route, you will see medieval castles, beautiful little villages, fields of dry stone walls and the amazing rural landscape of west Clare. Our guide will entertain you with insights into the geology, history and stories of the Irish landscapes.
Your driver / guide will drop you at the Quay at Doolin, from here you start your self-guided walk via the village of Doolin along the Cliff path to the Cliffs of Moher. The 8km of coastal walkway offers breath taking views of Galway Bay, the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher.
Rendezvous with your driver/guide and the tour coach at the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre at 4.30pm and then sit back and relax while you return to Limerick.
Departing Arthurs Quay, Limerick at 08:30 daily, our local driver / guide will take you from Limerick via Ennis to the picturesque village of Doolin in County Clare. En route, you will see medieval castles, beautiful little villages, fields of dry stone walls and the amazing rural landscape of west Clare. Our driver / guide will entertain you with insights into the geology, history and stories of the landscapes in view.
The tour vehicle stops briefly at the Bunratty Castle Hotel adjacent to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Built to impress in the 15th century, Bunratty Castle is one of the most splendid in Ireland. It's bold outline dominates the skyline as you pass.
The tour vehicle does a quick pick up at The Temple Gate Hotel, Ennis, before heading out into the wilds of County Clare. Ennis or 'Inis' in Irish meaning 'Island.' The name relates to an island formed between two courses of the River Fergus on which the Franciscan Friary was built in the 13th century.
In Doolin, our driver / guide will give you directions to the start point of the coastal pathway along with instructions as to meeting up with the tour vehicle after your walk to the Cliffs of Moher visitors centre. You'll have 5 hours to walk the 8 km of cliff path so there is ample time to enjoy Doolin before heading off.
You will rendezvous with our driver / guide and tour vehicle at the Cliffs of Moher visitors centre. Than sit back and relax while our driver / guide returns you to your pick up point.
Arrive back to meet point in Limerick. Time to say a final 'Good Bye' or 'Slan Abhaile' to your driver / guide

***Please note your travel time to the meet point in Limerick as the area can often get congested in morning traffic.
