The trail opens Am Markt in Bremen, between the Bremer Rathaus and Bremen Cathedral, a few steps from the Bremer Stadtmusikanten. From the square it runs out into the lanes of the old town and on towards the river. This is a murder mystery walking tour you run at your own pace, set in the centre of Bremen.
The old centre is flat and small enough to cross on foot without effort, so the walking between clues stays short.
