About this activity

A full-day excursion from Wrocław to Berlin covering 14 hours of travel and guided sightseeing through Germany's historic capital. Explore iconic Cold War landmarks, WWII memorials, and the Brandenburg Gate on a 3-hour walking tour led by an English-speaking guide, then experience Berlin's modern cultural scene before returning to Wrocław.

After a pleasant drive from Wrocław arrive at the German capital taking a break for coffee and a snack before sightseeing. Take a 3 hour guided tour in English covering the most important monuments.

The walk starts in front of the Brandenburg Gate, the city’s greatest icon. Strolling down the city center you will stand above the former Hitler’s Bunker and you will see the  Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, taking some time to reflect on the millions who perished in the Nazi Holocaust.

Then you will discover the Check Point Charlie, the famous border crossing during the division of the city in times of Cold War and other well-known places such as Gendarmenmarkt, the remains of The Berlin Wall, Luftwaffe Headquarters and the Book burning memorial on Bebel Platz, to help you understand the complicated legacy of the city.

After the tour, take some time to enjoy the vibrant, modern, and cosmopolitan atmosphere so characteristic for the era of united Germany before taking the road back to Wroclaw in the late afternoon.

Please note, that in order to get to Berlin we will cross Polish-German border, please take your PASSPORT with you
