Only Tour to Avila and Segovia Rated 5 Star - Certificate of Excellence
On this Tour we will visit the cities of Segovia and Ávila, declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO on this day trip from Madrid. We will visit the old town of Ávila with after crossing its 11th century walls, we will visit the exterior of the cathedral and the Basilica of San Vicente, the Plaza Mayor, and the interior of the Birthplace of Santa Teresa de Jesús. We will make sure the food is not included, or we will have free time.
Then we will start the second part of the excursion, our drestino, SEGOVIA. We will contemplate its huge Roman aqueduct, the exterior of the Cathedral of Segovia, the Plaza Mayor and the Alcázar of Segovia, a great fortress throughout history, which reminds us of the Castle of Snow White.
We will finish our Walking Tour and return to Madrid.
Visit October–November or March–April for mild weather and fewer crowds. Avoid July–August (extreme heat, peak tourism). Morning departures are preferable to maximise daylight and avoid afternoon coach fatigue; allow Segovia's aqueduct and Alcázar to shine in late-afternoon golden light.
