What to expect?

We have put together this 4-Day package that allows you to experience awe-inspiring landscapes along with fun and exciting activities. This is the perfect 4-day package for your summer vacation in Iceland.

During this season the days are long due to extensive daylight. This means more time to explore! We might decide to extend some day tours into the evening because why stop exploring if the sun is still shining (even though it’s almost midnight!)

During this season a whole new world opens up as the highlands become accessible. Full of vibrant colors and otherworldly landscapes. We will adjust the itinerary and thus make sure you get the most of your summer vacation in Iceland.

Your accommodation

We have created the ideal base for your adventure travel in Iceland. You will accommodate at Midgard Base Camp. At Base Camp you will also find a restaurant, bar, café and a small clothing and gear store. It is filled with local people and good vibes. Comfortable beds, delicious food, locally brewed beer, and not to mention the rooftop sauna and hot tub. For more information check out Midgard Base Camp’s website.

Insider tips

  • Book for late June onward to access the highland routes; earlier departures focus on geothermal springs and lower-elevation trails instead.
  • The midnight sun means guides may extend evening activities if weather permits—pack layers and be ready for a full day despite the hour.
  • Arrive well-hydrated and accustomed to walking; glacier and valley hikes involve uneven terrain and steep sections.
  • The south coast is weather-prone; even in summer, wind and rain can occur—waterproof gear and sturdy boots are essential.

Good to know

  • All transport, accommodation, meals, and activities included; no hidden costs.
  • Itinerary shifts based on date: Reykjadalur geothermal hike and hot spring soak available May–June 20; highland exploration from June 20 onward.
  • Glacier hiking requires moderate fitness; the tour includes professional instruction but not specialized alpine gear (crampons/harnesses typically provided).
  • Pickup and drop-off in Reykjavik; confirm meeting time and location upon booking.
  • Accessibility dependent on terrain difficulty; verify mobility needs directly with operator before booking.
