Itinerary

Day 1 – Half Day Tour (4 hours)

Begin your adventure with a visit to Rano Kau, a majestic volcano with a freshwater lake in its crater. Discover the fascinating Birdman Legend and explore the ancient ruins of Orongo, an important ceremonial village. Marvel at the precision stonework at Ahu Vinapu and finish the day with a visit to the Tahai platform, home to three iconic ahu.

Day 2 – Full-Day Tour (6 hours)
🕘 Pick-up Time: 09:00 at your selected hotel
📍 Sites visited: Akahanga – Rano Raraku – Tongariki – Te Pito Kura – Anakena

Explore the southern coast, starting at Akahanga, an ancient ceremonial site where you'll find a 100-ton basal moai. Continue to Ahu Tongariki, home to 15 magnificent moai statues, and then visit Rano Raraku, the quarry where nearly 400 moai are scattered around the volcanic rim. After lunch, head to Te Pito Kura, the Navel of the World, and finish your day at Anakena Beach, believed to be the landing site of Hotu Matu’a. Explore Ahu Nau Nau and its seven impressive moai statues.

Choose between two trekking activities:

After your trek, visit Ahu A’kivi, where seven restored moai face the ocean, and then head to the Puna Pau quarry, a small volcano where the red scoria stone was sourced for the moai topknots.

Day 4 – Sunrise Half-Day Tour
