Explore two of Montenegro's most iconic coastal landmarks on a 2-hour guided boat tour from Kotor. Please note: This tour includes hotel pick up and drop off service. Simply select the pick up place of your preference from the list under the availability section and our driver will be on his way!
Please note: If you don't want to be picked up, you can meet us at Park Slobode
The tour starts at the city park near Kotor’s port, 200 m from Old town’s main gate. Our first stop is at an islet in the middle of Boka Bay, which bears the name of the church that’s settled on it – Our Lady of the Rocks.
Tales speak of an icon of the Holy Mother of God with Christ, found by seamen after a shipwreck. In commemoration of the event, local fishermen vowed to throw rocks at the same spot where the Lady had been found, thus enlarging and creating a beautiful artificial islet that harbours the church that’s been built in Her honour.
Next comes the cruise to a small picturesque town called Perast. This UNESCO World Heritage site, with its Baroque architecture, historic palaces, Catholic churches, and medieval towers, will take you back to the ancient times. In spite of having only one main street, the Old town is packed with history, attractions and hedonistic experiences that visitors will cherish for many years to come.
Visit in late spring (May–June) or early autumn (September–October) for calm seas, warm weather, and fewer cruise-ship crowds. Midday sun is intense; early morning or late afternoon departures offer better light for photography and cooler conditions on the boat.
