Tindfjallajökull Hike

<p style="font-size:14px;line-height:1.6;color:#57646f;margin-top:0.5em;margin-bottom:0.5em">Tindfjallajökull is a perfect hike/mountaineering for people that want a nice day of hiking on the high glacier. The view on the summit is amazing, you can see into the valley Þórsmörk and the famous glacier Eyjafjallajökull that erupted in 2010. And in the south, you can see the south coast and Vestmannaeyjar ( Westman Islands )</p><p style="font-size:14px;line-height:1.6;color:#57646f;margin-top:0.5em;margin-bottom:0.5em">We meet at N1( gas station ) in Hvolsvöllur and drive together on a jeep to miðskáli ( middle hut ) that take about 40 -70min but it depends on the conditions on the roads. From that hut, we start the hike up the glacier.</p>
