What marine animals will I see?

Sightings vary by season. Year-round: mobula ray schools (sometimes hundreds), hammerhead sharks, and tuna. November–May: migrating grey whales often within 50 metres of shore. Orca sightings are also common.

Is this experience safe for children?

Yes. Children aged 10+ are welcome. The flight itself is passive—you sit back and enjoy once airborne. The only physical demand is a short jog-like effort during launch, which guides will brief you on.

How long is the actual flight time?

The total experience lasts 3 hours, including transport from Cabo San Lucas, safety briefing, and the paragliding flight itself.

What do I need to bring or wear?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and footwear suitable for light jogging. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light layer—it's cooler in the air. The operator provides all paragliding equipment.

Can I ask questions during the flight?

Absolutely. All flights are one-on-one with a knowledgeable pilot. You'll have a two-way radio to communicate, ask about species, and get live commentary on what you're spotting below.

What if bad weather cancels my flight?

The activity is weather-dependent. Wind and sea conditions may force reschedules. Confirm your operator's cancellation and rebooking policy at booking.

All our paragliding experiences are private one-on-one with knowledgeable guides explaining over a two-way radio what we are seeing in the ocean below.

After a short drive from Cabo San Lucas, we arrive at our dedicated paragliding site, where you will be met by our friendly staff. Once you have completed orientation on launch, landing and radio use we are ready to take off to the skies and to spot for marine animals.

It is very common to see jumping Mobula rays in schools of hundreds, sharks such as hammerheads, orcas and schools of tuna. From November to May we see almost daily migrating whales, some as close as 50 meters from the beach.

This one-on-one paraglide flight with the pilot is an exclusive experience that you will remember forever.

The activity is kids friendly and youngsters from 10 years old can join. There is no maximum age or other restrictions besides that you can do some light running/jogging for the launch.
