Colombo is rewarding year-round, but spring and early autumn typically bring the most comfortable temperatures and thinner crowds than peak summer. Morning departures tend to be quieter and cooler; booking ahead is recommended in high season as popular bus & minivan tours slots in Colombo sell out.
our guide Raj was nice enough, but a little local spot off the usual route felt a bit rushed honestly ... First thing in the morning. Would only really suit you if youre not fussy, 6 stops in about 3 hours. Bit disappointed ngl, ran the full 4 hours promised.
So nice this one, a stop the guide added on the fly was amazing and Dmitri the guide explain everything good. Better than Rome for sure, we go again!
our guide Leila sorted everything for us and a stop the guide added on the fly was the highlight, and honestly better than the tour we did in Cape Town last year, def recommend
