The starting point is Lang Park in Sydney, with St Patrick's Church a short walk below it and the harbour edge further down again. From there the route drops through the old streets toward Circular Quay, past Customs House, and comes back up by way of Macquarie Place. It is a city escape game played on foot: the clues sit in the buildings and the corners you walk through.

The ground here slopes, and this oldest quarter of Sydney is built in steps and lanes, so expect a few short climbs between puzzles rather than one long walk. A team is two to five people on a single phone, each player holding a character with a role in the mission, which keeps everyone involved. Larger groups break into separate teams with their own phones. There is no guide and no departure time, so a team sets its own rhythm.

Your team reads codes, argues over riddles and puts together photo tasks, sharing out the work by character, with one stretch running past the Museum of Sydney before turning back toward the water. The pieces rarely sit with one player, so the group has to talk.

Several teams playing at once makes it a race, which is why it works for team building days as well as a weekend with friends. Nothing is timed, so you can break for a drink by the water and resume later. The last clues put you back in the older streets of Sydney.
