The game starts on the Plaza Alta in Algeciras, the tiled square with the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Palma standing over it. From there the route drops into the streets below and comes round again by Plaza San Isidro. It is a city escape game played outdoors, which here means walking between the squares above the port and the lanes that run down towards it.

You play as a team of two to five sharing one phone, and each player takes on a character with their own job in the mission, so progress depends on the group rather than on one leader. Families, friends, couples and colleagues all fit. Algeciras rises away from the water, so a couple of streets on the route climb, and the centre is small enough that you are never far from the square you started on. Groups over five run as separate teams. There is no guide and no fixed departure time.

Magnus is the one carrying the stolen formulas, and the trail through town is what he left behind. Codes, riddles and photo tasks follow one another, each handed to whichever character in the team is best placed for it. The search takes in Plaza Marqués de Verboom before turning back towards the higher ground.

Run several teams at the same time and it becomes a competition between them, which is what makes it useful for team building. You can stop, eat, and take the hunt up again later in the day, ending with the last clue somewhere in the middle of Algeciras.
