Get ready to get your breath taken away as you explore the Collsacabra cliffs from the charming medieval town of Rupit.This full day hiking excursion parting from Barcelona to the Collsacabra cliffs will take you to one of the most breathtaking landscapes of the Catalonian region. As a bonus, you will discover the picturesque medieval town of Rupit!

The adventure will start in Barcelona where you'll meet your guide. After about one and a half hour drive on a comfortable minivan, you will reach Rupit, one of Catalunya lesser know, yet incredibly beautiful spots. There, you'll hike will start as you make your way from Rupit to the impressive cliffs and forests that surround it. As you hike, you will enjoy stunning views of the Collsacabra mountain range!

The path will cross beautiful forests and will take you to a natural balcony with breathtaking views of the Susqueda reservoir and the surrounding areas. One of the highlights of the trip is the famous Salt de Sallent, the highest waterfall in Catalonia standing 115 meters tall. If you are lucky you might even spot one of the mighty eagles soaring the skies over you!

This itinerary will last around 3 hours and after that, you'll return to Rupit where you will have some free time to have lunch (we can book a local restaurant for you). After lunch you will do some sightseeing in Rupit, an XVI century medieval town before returning to Barcelona.
