About this activity

Combine adrenaline-fueled quad biking through Chianti's backcountry with a leisurely exploration of medieval villages and Tuscan wineries. This 7-hour hybrid tour balances off-road thrills, cultural immersion, and a multi-course lunch paired with six regional wines.

Come and discover the wild heart of Chianti, together with us you can live an experience totally immersed in the green of the countryside and woods.

You will have fun in total safety by driving on the roads and off-road.

After the quad experience you will continue the tour enjoying the landscapes of the Chianti Classico, thanks to our specially modified minivan to fully appreciate the scents and colors of our countryside full of vineyards and olive groves.

We will stop to visit Montefioralle, a small and fascinating medieval village of 1100 and Greve in Chianti, whose fame has always been linked to its main Piazza Matteotti, with small shops under arcades with typical artisan products.

The last stop of the tour will be a winery where you will taste a classic Tuscan lunch accompanied by a fantastic tasting of 6 wines, chosen appropriately according to the courses.

Highlights

  • Off-road and on-road quad riding through forested Chianti terrain
  • Visit Montefioralle, a 1100s hilltop village with preserved medieval character
  • Explore Greve in Chianti's arcaded Piazza Matteotti for artisan shopping
  • Six-wine tasting paired with traditional Tuscan lunch at a working winery
  • Open-air minivan touring to absorb countryside scents and vineyard vistas

Insider tips

  • Request a quad briefing beforehand if you're new to riding; terrain varies from gentle vineyard tracks to moderate forest sections
  • The minivan portion is equally important—sit on the open side for best vineyard photography and breeze
  • Montefioralle's narrow lanes are steep and cobbled; wear comfortable walking shoes with grip
  • Ask your guide which wines pair best with each course; Chianti Classico producers often have signature blends not on standard menus

Good to know

  • Bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen) for both quad and minivan stages; exposed to elements throughout
  • Closed-toe shoes required for quad riding; long trousers recommended to avoid sun exposure
  • ATV experience not essential, but basic fitness helps; the ride is moderate-pace, not competitive
  • Minivan portion is wheelchair-accessible in some sections; confirm accessibility needs when booking
  • Hotel pickup/drop-off typically included in Florence; verify meeting point and time at confirmation
