Private Tour: Bangkok Chinatown Way of Life Experience

A walk through Bangkok’s Chinatown, and some of the city’s many markets, provides a fascinating glimpse into Thailand’s Chinese heritage.

Visit streets lined with wooden shop-houses and busy market stalls plus restaurants and gold shops. Beautiful Chinese temples, Taoist places of learning, traditional medicine shops and merchants of all types and sizes line both sides of Yaowarat Road. Yaowarat Road in Samphanthawong District is the main artery of Bangkok's Chinatown. It is crowded, colourful, fascinating, very ecletic and definitely a place you'll want to see, especially the photographers!

Here you’ll be able to explore the labyrinth of vendors and find just about anything you could imagine. We’ll then head to Woeng Nakhon Khasem, which is more popularly known as the 'Thieves Market' as formerly mostly stolen goods were sold there. These-days it is filled with old furniture, brassware and imitation antiques.

Finally, we’ll head to Pahurat Market, which has been aptly named Little India, to peruse the small neighbourhood's stalls and shops that sell fabrics, toys, household items, spices and more.
