Insider tips

  • Start early at 9:00 AM to secure cable car spots during peak season and avoid afternoon crowds on Table Mountain
  • Wear layers for Table Mountain – the summit is significantly cooler and windier than the base, even on warm days
  • Request wine estate recommendations in advance; Constantia Valley has 20+ wineries, and your guide can tailor stops to your preferences
  • Bring sunscreen and a hat – Signal Hill and the mountain walk offer no shade despite stunning views

Good to know

  • All transportation and guide included; cable car fees typically covered or specified at booking
  • Meet your driver at your Cape Town accommodation (9:00 AM start, ~5:30 PM finish)
  • Table Mountain walk is moderate but involves elevation; reasonable fitness advised
  • Private tours accommodate dietary preferences and pace preferences for wine tastings
